ECO é uma instalação que recorre à fotografia que, quando sujeita a um sistema óptico (os espelhos) prescinde da sua identidade individual, para se relacionar com reflexos de si própria, criando uma nova percepção, com uma multiplicidade de interpretações que oscilam entre a realidade e a ilusão, numa reflexão sobre o papel da fotografia como meio de representação da realidade, e a sua importância na noção de Paisagem.
ECO is an installation that uses photography in a way that, once subjected to an optic system (the mirrors) it loses its individual identity. Then the photography relates to its one reflection creating a new perception, with a multiplicity of interpretations that oscillate between the reality and the illusion, in an artistic consideration upon the role of photography as a medium for the representation of reality, and its importance in the notion of Landscape.
