David de Almeida is considered one of the major references of the Portuguese contemporary engraving, whose technique and notion he has innovated over the past three decades. However, in recent years, David de Almeida has made several series of paintings and sculptures, with games of simplicity and balance between materials and colors, which enhance and in some aspects radicalize a few of the plastic suggestions developed throughout his career.
